1. Acceptance of Terms

Alarm Click provides free, browser-based time management tools, including but not limited to:

  • Timer: Count down from a set duration with preset and custom time options.
  • Stopwatch: Measure elapsed time with lap recording support.
  • Countdown: Count down to a specific future date and time.
  • World Clock: View the current time in cities around the world.
  • Current Time: Display your exact local time, date, and timezone.
  • Egg Timer: Preset kitchen timer for cooking eggs and other items.
  • Presentation Timer: Timer designed for presentations and public speaking.
  • Classroom Timer: Visual timer for classroom activities and teaching.

All tools run entirely within your web browser. No software installation, account creation, or personal information is required to use Alarm Click.

3. Browser Requirements and Limitations

Alarm Click tools rely on standard web browser technologies. For proper functionality:

  • JavaScript must be enabled in your browser.
  • The browser tab running Alarm Click must remain open for alarms and timers to function.
  • Audio playback requires that your device is not in silent mode and that browser audio permissions are granted.
  • Some features (such as fullscreen lights-off mode) may require additional browser permissions.
  • The Web Audio API must be supported by your browser for alarm sounds to play.

Alarm Click supports all modern browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and their mobile equivalents. Older browsers may not support all features.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Alarm Click only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security of, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running Alarm Click.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the website or its content without prior written permission.

6. User Data and Local Storage

Alarm Click stores your preferences and settings locally on your device using browser localStorage. This data includes alarm times, sound selections, theme preferences, and display settings. This data:

  • Is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
  • May be lost if you clear your browser data, switch browsers, or use incognito/private mode.
  • Is not backed up or recoverable by Alarm Click.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Alarm Click is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Without limiting the foregoing, Alarm Click explicitly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • Any warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of alarm timing, sound playback, or countdown calculations.

Important: Do not rely solely on Alarm Click for critical, time-sensitive tasks such as waking up for important events, medical reminders, or safety-related timing. Browser-based alarms depend on your device remaining powered on, your browser remaining open, and your system audio functioning correctly. Always use a backup alarm for critical situations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alarm Click and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
  • Damages resulting from the failure of an alarm or timer to trigger.
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your local data.
  • Damages resulting from any interruption or cessation of the service.
  • Damages resulting from any bugs, viruses, or errors transmitted to or through the service by any third party.

In no event shall the total liability of Alarm Click exceed the amount you have paid to Alarm Click in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, which, given that the service is free, is zero.

9. Advertising

Alarm Click is a free service supported by advertising. By using Alarm Click, you acknowledge and agree that:
